HTSA - Update May 17th

 Dear Parents,

 

All Vernil Vizha participantsare required to be at the venue by 3:30pmon Sunday. The programme starts at 4pm sharp. We are required to vacate the venue by 8:30pm

 

Please note, the following day is a Monday and it is a regular school day and a working day. Therefore, a prompt start and a prompt finish are necessary. HTSA is counting on all your support.  

 

Parents Meeting – Saturday, 19th May 2018.

Parent’s meeting will be held after the Assembly.

 

Vernil Vizha 2018 – SUNDAY, 20th May 2018 @ 4pm

Venue: Watersmeet Theatre, High St, Rickmansworth WD3 1EH.

 

Participants:

Tamil: Reception, A1, B1, B2, Year 1A, Year 3 and Year 5.

Fine Arts: Miruthangam (Aanathanadesan), Violin (Mrs Saravanabavan), Dance and Vocal (Sivatharshika)

 

HTSA Speech Competition Winners:We invite those who won the 1st prize, From Reception, A1, B1, B2, Year 1A, Year 3 and Year 5 only, at the HTSA Speech Competition (last term) to take the stage and deliver the speech at the VV2018 on Saturday, 10th March 2018. We kindly request the parents to encourage your child and prepare them for the event. 

 

Attendance:All Participants must attend the rehearsals (to be confirmed)andmust report to the venue (Watersmeet) at 3:30 pm on the VV2018 day.

 

Fees for Participants:£10/ participant (Covers both Tamil & Finearts performances)

Siblings concession: Three siblings for the price of Two. (3 siblings pay just £20)

Please pay the Participant fees by Saturday, 19th May 2018.

 

We welcome sponsors, donors and advertainments towards VV2018

 

 

Thirukkural Competition - Saturday, 16th June - Finals

 

Please register the participant’s details before Saturday, 26th May 2018.

 

A registration form/list is available, at the canteen area on Saturdays, during school hours until the deadline. Please fill all required details and ensure they are accurate. Please register your child according to the Mainstream Schoolyear group.

 

Depending on the number of entries received, a semi-final may be held on Saturday 9th June 2018, for selected classes with higher number of entries. The decision will be made after the registration deadline.

 

All the Thirukkural Scripts are attached to this email. Please check the attachments and choose the correct script for your child based on their academic school year. Alternatively, printed copies are available for collection at the school desk on Saturday, 12th May 2018. 

 

 

 

 

Safety Rules - Reminder

1.    Parents must pick their children from the Assembly Hall and not from the Car Park. If the children are caught leaving the building without an adult supervision and the security officer inform the council, the authorities will not hesitate to act. Please note, CCTV is in operation in and around the school premises.

2.    In line with the above rule, the children are not allowed in the playground or anywhere outside the class rooms or canteen area without an adult supervision.

3.    Please ensure, the children wear appropriate footwear to school.

4.    Please use the bins for your litter and leave the canteen area clean.

5.    Please remember to take your belongings with you. HTSA will not take responsibility for lost items.

6.    Parents of students who are 8 years old or under must ensure at least one of the parent or guardian remain at the school on Saturdays, during your children’s lessons.

Enforcement date: 25 May 2018

 

To comply with the upcoming regulatory changes, HTSA request all parties who may have in their possession the private data of the HTSA students’, Parents’, Donors’, Supporters’ and Suppliers’ which you may have come across through your connection with HTSA, directly or indirectly, to delete such a data with immediate effect. Beyond the Enforcement, any possession of such a data will be deemed unauthorised by HTSA and HTSA will not be held responsible for any damages caused by any data breach that may arise from such a data.

 

HTSA hereby request you to delete such a data immediately.

 

Leavers??? - Please inform us immediately…

If your child has left the School, please inform us immediately. Please contact us with your child’s full name and your full name. This will help us to offer the place to another child from the waiting list and remove your details from our mailing list.  

 

Fees - Spring Term 2018

If you haven't paid the fees, please pay to the treasurer on Saturday or pay online as instructed.
