We have been asked to remind our parents about the parking arrangement we have with Whitmore School as this become as a major issue.
There were many participants/parents that had parked without consideration to others, (using disabled spaces without blue badge displayed), mistreating the schools' property, (by parking on the grass/pavements) and with no thought given to keeping Emergency access routes clear for Safety reasons (if we should require the Fire Service or an Ambulance to attend in emergency).
We have been advised if this pattern of behaviour continues, school will have no choice but to close the car parks if drivers cannot maintain orderly parking and keep Safety access routes clear as is legally necessary for the school.
Please can we ask you all carefully consider how and where you park at the school and to bear in mind all of the Safety Issues which are a bigger priority concern for the school; much more so than providing parking for attendees.
